Terms and condition acceptance

By registering for a V miles loyalty card, the subscriber acknowledges having read and accepted all terms and conditions described below and any change henceforth in the future.

Membership

The V miles subscription and use of the card is free for life and available upon request at all VGroup outlets to persons above 18 years of age.

The subscriber must complete and submit the application form at the customer service counter at any outlets of VGroup. VGroup reserves the right to deny the application to any person without assigning any reason or to remove the V miles account and all acquired benefits. The submission of an application is treated as a consent from cardholder to receive any SMS/ email alert from VGroup.

The V miles card cannot be duplicated and/or used for any purpose other than those provided for in these terms and conditions. The V miles card may not be transferred or used by anyone other than its subscriber and members of the household, for any reason.

Earning

The V miles loyalty card enables its cardholder to earn miles upon purchase on any VGroup outlets:

1 point for every 10 Dirhams spent when making qualifying purchases at any VGroup stores in the United Arab Emirates. The qualifying purchase is a minimum amount of AED 10. Any purchase for less than AED 10 will not earn any miles.

To earn miles at the time of purchase, the V miles card should be presented. The miles will be credited directly to the cardholder account.

Redeeming

On the condition that V miles account is registered, when the card holders accumulate 100 miles, he/she will be eligible for 10 Dirhams cash voucher. The voucher can be collected from the customer service counter by showing the V miles card.

The redemption will be available only on the previous day miles and not on the current bill purchase. If a V miles card holder does not want to redeem at 100 miles he/she can cumulate up to 1000 miles beyond which accumulation will not be allowed. This a V miles card holder can earn & redeem 100 Dirhams for 1000 miles.

In any case, no cash refund will be given to V miles card holder against miles earned. The bill value on which redemption is made should not be less than the redemption cash voucher. The point earned by a card holder is non-transferable.

The redemption should be made by the card holder only and he/she should provide necessary identity proof, cash voucher valid only for 30 days.



Claim and items refund

In case any cardholder contesting the missing miles, miles balance, the cardholder has seven days to furnish his claim, from the date he/she earned the miles by mail to: info@vgroupmiles.com

In case of an items being refunded, the miles earned on this items will be deducted from the V miles accounts. If the V miles account does not have sufficient number of miles to deduct from the account, the account will go to negative to the extent of miles earned on the returned items.

Loss, Theft or Damage

The cardholder is responsible for any loss, theft or damage of his V miles cards and must immediately inform the store if this occurs. The cardholder can request a duplicate card at a cost of AED 15/-.

VGroup declines any responsibility during the period between the loss, theft or damage and the declaration of the loss, theft or damage, of the V miles card by the cardholder.

Responsibility

VGroup is exempted from any responsibility for any direct or indirect consequences linked to any fraudulent use or non-accordance use with these terms and conditions.

Removal

The V miles card is the property of VGroup.

The V miles card can be immediately suspended or terminated by VGroup at any time if, VGroup has reason to believe that a card holder:

  • Has breached these terms and conditions,
  • Has behaved fraudulently/misused the V miles card,
  • Has supplied false or misleading information to VGroup.

In this case the cardholder will lose all the acquired benefits and any right of use.

If the V miles card is not used during continues period of 12 months, VGroup will remove the V miles account and the cardholder will lose all the acquired benefits and will not be able to use his/her V miles card anymore.

If a cardholder wishes to close his V miles card and V miles account, he/she can return the card to any VGroup Outlet with a written notification stipulating his demand, his name, V miles account number and signature.

Terms and condition modification or cancellation

VGroup reserves the right to modify or cancel some or all of the terms and conditions of this scheme at any time, in its sole discretion.

These terms and any dispute or claims arising out of, or in connection with, its subject matter or formation (including non-contractual dispute or claims) are governed by and construed in accordance with the law of the United Arab Emirates.
